Persona Attributes

Statues

Both of them are Golems, their chitinous skin made of an special rock similar to concrete and clay, which gives them an immense resilience, and counting with the attributes given by their draconic nature, their capacities are perfectly balanced.

But these animus statues have their own trick. One of them is programmed to always say the truth, while the other is programmed to always lie.

Even if they constantly contradict each other, they can't live without the other.

Appeareance

Both of them are sentient statues, and they have the appeareance of anthropomorphic dragons.

Their skin feels like concrete, coloured in a stone grey. Their snouts are like a dragon's, they have grey horns and wings, and sharp teeth. They're both 9'0ft tall.

Truth, the Statue of Truth, has blue eyes that represents his loyalty and reliability.

Liar, the Statue of Lies, has red eyes that represents his deception.

Personality

Truth, the Statue of Truth, has a more calculative personality, and as his name says, he can only say the truth. He's heterosexual

Liar, the Statue of Lies, has a more mocking personality, always saying lies without being able to say a single truth. However, he has a soft side for his friend Truth. He's homosexual, and he deeply loves Truth, who doesn't knows it.

Even if they're instinctively forced to contradict each other, their body language still expresses what they truly want to express.

Additionally, they can't speak about themselves, which makes it harder for Liar to express his feelings for Truth.

Since Liar can't express himself without contradicting his feelings, he has to forcefully, constantly say 'No' when someone asks if he likes Truth, because it's true. Truth, for his part, isn't attracted to Liar. He's very likely to negate any question related to his relationship with Liar, even rejecting the feelings that Liar wants to show.

The Key

Both Truth and Liar are magical statues, binded together by a curse that forces them to say what they're programmed to say.

They guard a heavy, large stone door that requires a key to be opened. The trick in this puzzle is that there's no key, because both Truth and Liar are the key. In order to open the door and break their curse, they must show their love to each other, something extremely hard to do due to Truth's rejection and Liar's discapacity to say what he feels.
