Mettaton

Mettaton is a robotic android with black hair and bangs covering his right eye. He has a white face with robotic panels below his left eye, long legs, a narrow waist, and wide shoulder pads. He also wears pink heeled boots. He has a pink chest plate with a speaker on the right side. A transparent container containing his SOUL is located at his waist, which he can release. During battle, he often adopts increasingly revealing poses and moves faster and faster.

Mettaton is a confident, charismatic, and charming television host who loves drama, action, and violence. He lives for ratings and adores performing. At times, he shows a rather superficial appreciation for his existence. He has a strong need for attention, and sometimes his egoism borders on narcissism, such as when he boasts about the beauty of his true form. However, despite his self-love, he genuinely appreciates and cares for his fans, as well as Alphys and his cousin Napstablook. He is also one of the few inhabitants of the Underground who harbors no hatred or prejudice towards humanity, and his initial attempts to kill the protagonist were nothing more than a performance staged by him and Alphys so that the latter could feel useful, not to mention that Mettaton directly told the protagonist that he did not wish to harm humans and that he would much rather entertain them.
