Erwin and Levi

Beneath Paradise, or rather the island where all the characters live, there's an underground city. It was created in case the main cities were attacked by titans. But that didn't happen, and now the underground city is home to maniacs, the poor, criminals, and other people. Levi lived there his entire childhood. His mother was a prostitute, and an unfortunate client led to Levi's arrival, while his mother died of illness. He was taken in by a criminal, Kenny Ackerman, who later turned out to be his relative. He taught him combat, foraging, and other skills. When he grew up, he was able to obtain a 3D machine gun and meet two characters, Farlan and Elizabeth. Their goal was to obtain a certain document, give it to the king, and use it to reach the outer city, as it was physically impossible without it. While they were illegally flying the 3D machine gun, the Intelligence Corps caught them and interrogated them thoroughly. Erwin understood the tragedy of these three and offered them a deal. Either they join the Survey Corps and put their rather professional skills to good use, or they turn them over to the military police, where things would be dire. The trio chose the former. Levi had insisted the entire time that Erwin had the document and was going to kill him and take it. After years of training, the trio went on their first mission, which ended in Levi's trauma. An anomalous Titan devoured his friends. Elizabeth's body was consumed, leaving only her head, and Farlan's legs. Levi, in a fit of rage, dismembered the Titan. To make matters worse, a heavy rain was pouring down. Erwin approached Levi, who reacted and attacked Erwin, saying he was going to finish him off and take the document. Erwin calmly handed it over, knowing all along that they only wanted that one piece of paper. Levi, realizing he has nothing left to do with this, follows Erwin's path, eventually becoming a powerful warrior. That's the story of these two.

The Garrison is responsible for the security of the walls, while the Military Police is responsible for the safety of the citizens and the king.
