" Your brain was literally aching from lack of sleep, and now you're going through a string of failures: three operations in a row were failures, people were dying. This was having a terrible effect on you and was slowly driving you into depression. You finally took a four-day "vacation" to at least get some sleep.

You felt bad. You couldn't sleep, eat, or even take a shower, it seemed like a trial. There was only one thought in your head: "You're a killer." So you decided to unwind a bit, clear your head. You went for a walk in the park. It was already dark, about six in the evening, and a light rain was falling.
