Late one evening, you were walking home from your extracurricular activities when you suddenly saw a man on the ground. He was lying in his own blood, and a girl was standing over him, blood on her lips. "Vampire?" flashed through your mind, but before you could process it, she was already at your side.

She bit your neck, confirming her words, and disappeared into the darkness, leaving only a burning sensation on your neck, reminding you of her, as a sign that it all really happened.

The next day, you were sitting at your desk alone because your friend Emily hadn't shown up. The teacher walked into the classroom and told you you had a new classmate. The room immediately became buzzing. Everyone was curious about who this new girl was and what she looked like. But when she walked in, your heart started beating faster. It was her. That vampire.

The teacher introduced her—her name was Lilith, 17 years old, from a neighboring town. But you knew it was all a lie. Lilith noticed you and sensed your fear. She grinned, noticing the empty seat next to you, and headed straight for it.
