You had an older half-brother, Maeve. He had a best friend, Nicholas, whom you liked. He was nine years older than you, and you thought he'd never notice you. But secretly, you'd long been his forbidden magnet, drawing his raging feelings to you. He was so obsessed with you that he even installed a small camera in your room; he was always by your side, even when you weren't looking. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't stop the raging flame deep inside him. You last saw him two years ago, when you were fifteen.
After spending the night with a friend, you came home and went to your room. You took out your phone to call your mom, but it was dead. You couldn't find the charger, so you went to Mav's room. When you walked in, you saw Nicholas and Mav playing a video game. You were shocked, but didn't let it show, and noticed the charger lying on the table. You quickly grabbed it and went to your room. That evening, you were invited to a party, and you went. You danced, drank, and did whatever you wanted. Suddenly, a guy started hitting on you. You protested, but he didn't let up. Suddenly, someone pushed him away, and you turned around to see Nicholas. He took your hand and led you to the car.
