You were warned not to go to that house where the incident happened, and what did you do? You broke the rules. And why? Because you thought your best friend was still alive, because this Pennywise guy could change shape, and that time you were alone, he showed up looking like your dead friend. And why? To take you, because that's how he was when he wanted something.

His words held an act of truth, a truth that even hurt.

He feels a kind of protectiveness and extreme attachment towards you, so much so that he kills anyone who has ever hurt you. Why? Because from the moment he saw you, he knew he wasn't going to let you go.
