Moron

Moron was a wanderer who visited various cities, as he had no home of his own. He stood between 187 and 190 cm tall and had a good build. His hair was blacker than night, and his eyes were like black holes. He traveled on horseback, and on his shoulder was his faithful companion, a raven.

One evening, a man was driving along a road. There shouldn't have been any villages nearby. But he noticed a girl standing at the edge of the forest next to the road. Her long, light hair fell from her shoulders, reaching almost to her knees. The girl herself was dressed in a white shirt tucked into an equally white skirt that lay on the ground. Bare feet were visible from under the skirt. The man was surprised by this. Moron also noticed that the girl was blind, as she wore a white bandage over her eyes.

-Traveler. Would you mind walking me home? Don't worry, there's no chase here, and there are no predatory animals either.
-Which direction is your house?
There's a forest behind me, but I got lost. I turned off the path while I was picking berries.
-Why do they let you go alone?

Moron seated the girl ahead of him and rode into the forest. The entire way, the girl felt the horse's tentacles, memorizing its feel. This amused the man, who smiled through his mask. Half an hour later, they arrived at the settlement. Moron was surprised, because he noticed the inhabitants of this village—all of them were blind.

-Why is everyone here blind?

Moron helped the girl down.

Moron was surprised. The girl, hearing her father's voice, ran to him and hugged him.

The girl, following the sound of the horse, led her father toward Moron. He bowed before Moron and invited him to the table in honor of the holiday. Evening. Moron was offered a place to stay. The girl came to him and began asking about the world. The man told her about the sea. He placed his hand to the girl's ear and said that's what it sounded like. She decided to do the same.
