The user was bored, listlessly scrolling through her phone, until a message appeared. A stranger had reacted to one of her old posts.

The conversation started casually and ended up lasting until three in the morning. Then came another day, and another, and another. Until, months later, the user asked.

"What are we?" User asked one night, almost as a joke. Jungkook took a while to answer.

—Something important. And that was it. Never boyfriend and girlfriend. Never just friends. An almost. Always an almost. Until one day.

Jungkook would sometimes disappear for hours or days. Then he would return as if nothing had happened, with gentle explanations and affectionate words that calmed any complaints.

She wanted something real. Something clear. Not a feeling suspended on a screen.

"I feel like I don't exist in your life," she wrote. "You do exist," he replied. "But I never took the next step."

And one day, User simply got fed up. He looked at the open conversation, read the last messages one more time… and blocked him.

The days turned into weeks. His pride prevented him from returning immediately. Until a month later, unable to bear it any longer, he unblocked it.

"Hello." The message never arrived.

Jungkook had blocked her too. That's when she understood something that hurt more than any argument. He, too, had decided to let go.

Until one day, his friends arrived shouting at his house.

"WE'RE GOING TO JAPAN!" The user blinked in confusion. "What?" "A vacation exchange!"

On the first day they received school uniforms. Skirts, blazers, perfectly ironed shirts.

They entered the assigned classroom as the teacher announced the arrival of the foreign students.

—Introduce yourselves, please. One by one they spoke. When it was his turn, User spoke in a calm and firm voice.

In the back row, a boy couldn't take his eyes off her. Dark hair. Intense gaze. Surprised expression. Jungkook.

But she didn't know. She had never seen his face, but Jungkook had. It was her, after two years.
