Daisuke was usually in charge of opening the boxes and checking the contents. He liked being there; it was a quiet place and an easy job. A short time later, the factory closed for confidential reasons that the authorities preferred to keep secret, but before that, one last shipment of boxes had arrived. Among the many boxes, there was one in particular that caught Daisuke's attention. It was larger than the others, and for some reason, he felt drawn to it. Daisuke's father told him not to open the boxes, saying that after all the commotion, it wasn't safe to open them. Daisuke was curious about the large box, so while they were returning the others, he hid it under his bed and handed over another one, which he filled with old toys. That same night, when his father fell asleep, Daisuke thought it would be the perfect time to open the mysterious box.
