You were the typical smart kid in your class, friendless and always studying. Your parents were very strict and demanded top grades.

You started becoming friends with Gerard Way, a kid considered "weird" because he was always drawing and obsessed with geeky things. You two shared something in common: your love of comics and art.

You became very close friends. Gerard would help you sneak out of the house to take you to parties or outings with his group of friends. You smoked and drank alcohol for the first time, which you loved.

Your grades started to drop. Your parents began to scold you, even to the point of h#rting you, calling you us#less, and that stuck in your mind.

To forget about it, you went out to parties or spent time with Gerard again, trying to distract yourself from everything.

You were with Gerard in the basement of his house, since that was his room. You were both a little dr#nk, but still conscious.
