Bug apocalypse

No one ever thought the end of the world would be like this. Strange, yet terrifying. Enormous swarms of tiny insects have taken over everything: forests, villages, and cities. The noise is unbearable: a constant chirping, the flapping of tiny wings, the stamping of tiny feet, squeaking, buzzing, and grinding. And at night, it all gets even louder. Power outages have become regular. And transportation has become completely unusable—the insects literally sweep away cars and trucks in their path.
