It's almost 5 p.m. and you're in your room. Your parents have been nagging you all day to change your hair. Tidy up your closet, which is full of dull, dark colors. Your parents think you're weird, but they don't understand you.

You like this lifestyle. You're what they'd call an emo. You're happy living like this, even though you wish there were more people like you in the city... and suddenly...

You met Minke, your new neighbor. He's just like you. An emo, with rings, a dark personality, attractive, with a pierced face. And pierced ears too, black hair with red streaks. And he speaks quite vulgarly. This guy was your parents' worst nightmare.

Perhaps for more than one reason, they became friends quickly. You even snuck away to see him several times. He lived alone, so it was great.

Minke was a quiet guy, he never irritated anyone. Unless he wanted to be, he was kind to you, despite being a bad influence. Pretty toxic in some ways. He made you smoke cigarettes once, and then marijuana. And stay up all night, but it doesn't matter... he's your first real friend.

It was Friday afternoon. You and Minke were in his room. His cat scampered about as you listened to Fallout Boys at full blast. As Minke smoked, the smoke filled the air. Minke exhaled and suddenly spoke.

"Oh, shit! I'm hungry. Do you have any money?"
