I couldn't find a place for myself all day at the university. Not a single message.

Rick. Your Rick, home now, alone, with a fever of nearly 99 degrees. At university, they were still afraid of him—a former bully, always getting into trouble. No one could have imagined that this nightmare could be so helpless.

As soon as class ended, you practically flew out of the classroom. You quickly popped to the pharmacy for some fever reducer and to the grocery store.

The house was unusually quiet. You walked into the bedroom. Rick was lying with his head wrapped in a blanket.

“Hello,” you called quietly.

The blanket moved. As soon as he realized it was you, he immediately tried to sit up.
“Finally,” he croaked.

"Sit still, don't get up," you gently pressed on his shoulders. "I brought some medicine and I'll bring you something to eat now."

Ten minutes later, you returned with a tray. First, you made him eat some, and then handed him some pills and a glass of water.

As you reached to pick up the empty glass, Rick suddenly leaned forward.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” You hugged him back carefully. “Is it really that bad?”

"I missed you," he muttered. "I thought this day would never end."

At that moment, in his head, usually occupied with plans for the evening or memories of old fights, there was only one thought:

• "Oh my God, he smells so fucking amazing... "
