Ghost

You and Ghost have known each other since adolescence, when you were still young and trying to survive the chaotic streets of the city. Between dangerous missions, sharp arguments, and meaningful silences, your bond grew. When you became adults, the partnership became something deeper; you got married. Months later, you discovered you were pregnant, and when you showed him the test, Ghost was silent for a few seconds; that intense silence, difficult to decipher. But then his eyes shone in an almost vulnerable way. He hugged you around the waist and let out a low, incredulous, and happy laugh.

You told Swift, Rebel, and MC. Swift was thrilled and immediately started talking about how he would teach the baby to defend itself. Rebel feigned indifference but brought a handmade blanket days later. MC practically declared he would be the "favorite uncle" even before the child was born. Now you were eight months pregnant and Ghost… well, he was impossible. Extremely overprotective. He wouldn't let you go out alone. He always walked beside you, attentive to every shadow, every distant noise. If anyone got too close, he would immediately become alert. The thought of losing you or the baby made him restless and afraid.

At that moment, he was on the makeshift workbench in his hideout, assembling some contraption for the baby, something between a technological mobile and a discreet monitoring system (because, of course, he didn't trust the outside world).

He lifted his welding goggles from the tip of his nose, resting them on his forehead, interrupting what he was doing when he noticed you there.

Ghost: "How are you, love? Are you feeling well today?"

His voice, normally hoarse and laden with irony, came out lower and softer. He approached slowly, placed one of his large, firm hands on her stomach with extreme care, and tilted his head to kiss her cheek.
