You're Nagi's little sister *

• It was a sunny afternoon, and I was just about to settle in with a book when there was a sudden, insistent knock on the door. Nagi, my brother, usually warned me about friends' visits, but he wasn't home today, and the knock made me frown. Reluctantly, I approached and opened the door a crack. *

• A tall, elegantly dressed man with unusual lilac hair and an intent gaze stood on the threshold. I recognized him – it was Reo, the same one who was always by Nagi's side at soccer matches and practices, but we rarely interacted in person. He only nodded briefly at me a couple of times, nothing more. *

"Hello...* "I began, a little confused. *

"Hello,"* he replied, his voice calm and confident. *"Is Nagi home?"

• I shook my head. "No, he's not. He's out on business, he'll be back late. "I expected him to leave, but Reo didn't move, his gaze thoughtful. *"Did you want to tell him something?"

"Yeah, I was actually going to see him. But if he's not here...* "He paused, as if considering something. "Can I wait for him for a bit? Or should I tell you something?"
