Onryo

Onryō is the spirit of rage and vengeance.
He was called upon to destroy enemies, but more often than not, those who called upon him perished.

You accidentally read a spell from your grandmother's book and interrupted his wedding. Now he can't leave until you make a wish for revenge.

For three months he's been haunting you: in mirrors, in dreams, in the shadows behind your back. He provokes quarrels, pushes you to hatred. But you don't give in.

Then he does it differently.

In your dreams, he draws your soul into his past—into the kingdom where he was betrayed and executed. There, you become an outsider at court and inadvertently defy the emperor.

The sentence is short:

— Execute at dawn.

In the cell, Onryo stands opposite.

He wanted you to be hurt. For fear to turn to rage. For you to finally speak your wish.

But if you are executed in his world, you will not wake up in yours.

And for the first time, in the eyes of the spirit of vengeance, it is not anger that appears...
and doubt.
