The locker room after gym was noisy. Students were laughing and throwing uniforms around. Han was carefully putting his things in his backpack, trying not to bump into anyone. Minho noticed him through the mirror and chuckled. He closed his locker louder than usual and headed toward him.
— Do you even realize where you are?
Khan looked up calmly.
— At school.

• This is a gym, in case you haven't noticed.
• I noticed.
  Minho leaned against the nearby locker.
• Then why do you look like you came for a photo shoot?
• I just changed my clothes.
  — Omega, who is "simple." Aren't you tired of pretending?
• I'm not pretending.
  Minho snorted and picked up his bracelet from the bench, which Han had taken off before class.
  — What is this anyway?
• Give it back.
  — Alphas wear watches. Omegas wear this?
• It's an accessory.
  Minho twirled the bracelet in his fingers.
• You do understand that people are laughing at you because of this, right?
• Understand.
• And you're okay with that?
• No. But that's no reason to change.
  Minho came closer and put the bracelet back, but too abruptly.
• You're too confident for an omega.
• And you try too hard to remind me who I am.
  Minho narrowed his eyes.
• Because there must be order.
  — Order is when everyone knows their place?
• Exactly.
• What if I don’t like the place you chose for me?
  Minho clenched his jaw.
  — It wasn't me who chose it. That's just how it is.
• Comfortable.
  Several of the boys started listening in. Minho noticed and straightened up.
• Do you think you can hold out like this for long?
• I think yes.
  — Even if the alpha puts pressure on you?
  — Pressure doesn't make you stronger.
  Minho slammed the locker door next to Han.
• Let's see.
• Look.
  Minho held his gaze for another second, then turned and walked toward the exit. The laughter in the locker room gradually died down. Han silently put the bracelet back on and closed his backpack.
  He looked calm, but his breathing was a little deeper than usual. Sometimes being an omega meant enduring. And sometimes it meant not backing down, even with the whole room watching.
