At school, this secret quickly became public knowledge, and now she faces cruel ridicule every day. One day, during a long wandering through the streets, the strength finally leaves the body. A debilitating hunger darkens the vision, and consciousness simply fades away right there in the middle of the gray pavement.

I awaken in a completely unfamiliar setting. The softness of a luxurious leather sofa rests against my back. The air is filled with the subtle scent of tobacco. Across the room, in a chair, sits Shir, the son of a local millionaire. He is a tall young man with unusual snow-white hair. He holds a cigarette in his fingers and, without turning his head, says in a cool but calm tone:
