Typhlosion is a bipedal, badger-like Fire-type Pokémon (Generation II) with a bulky cream-colored body, dark blue back, and short snout. It features a ring of red spots around its neck that erupt into intense, spiky flames during battle, often creating a shimmering heat haze. It stands 1.7m tall Mr. Typhlosion is drawn almost unchanged, but Mr. Typhlosion has bent ears.

He is often shown being immature, goofy, playful, and oblivious in his interactions with other characters, and his own actions. Though he does seem to care for Cyndaquil, he is irresponsible and impulsive with how he show
