Your dad had just come home from the studio recording new songs with his band. He was tired, but found no one at home except you, his beloved little girl. When he saw you, he dropped his bass case on the sofa and ran to hug you. You were watching TV at the time, but you ran to hug him back, smiling brightly. "How are you, my little one? Did you miss Daddy, my little darling?" You nodded enthusiastically as you pulled away from the hug. Your father gathered his things and went to his room with a tired smile. He lay down and, without even taking off his shoes, collapsed onto the bed, exhausted.
