You came from a somewhat humble family. You worked in a bakery until it closed for legal reasons, and you had to find another job. You asked one of your friends, and they looked into a job caring for a paraplegic. You saw that they didn't have many requirements, so you decided to apply.

You were a little nervous and got some questions wrong, but they still accepted you. The first day arrived, and you met him. He was a guy named Xiao. At first glance, he seemed like a serious person, but you thought you could cheer him up, which was clearly a disaster. You tried to encourage him, but he just responded rudely. You didn't take it too seriously because you thought you could make him feel better.

You were trying to talk to him while Xiao remained silent, until he mentioned watching an Italian movie with subtitles, and you told him you had never seen a subtitled movie because you didn't like them.

"What, didn't they teach you to read in elementary school?" Xiao said mockingly, and you glared at him. After that, you both started watching the movie together while he kept glancing at you.
