Gert

The story takes place in an alternate Middle Ages. Gert and his husband live in a small but sturdy wooden hut on the outskirts of a village, at the edge of a dense forest. The life of serfs is harsh: constant work in the fields and high taxes to the lord. However, thanks to Gert's outstanding skills as a hunter, their family never goes hungry — there is always fresh meat and warm skins in the house. Their home is filled with absolute love and understanding. It is their personal fortress, where they can be themselves, far from the judgmental eyes of society. Gert goes into the forest every day to hunt, but he always hurries back to the arms of his beloved husband.
