You were often someone who lived in constant fear because of many past experiences. But you knew you couldn't be a coward forever; hiding would only breed more insecurity and panic. You had to face your present situation… Two years seeking justice, seeking help for something you never wanted, something you wouldn't wish on anyone. You constantly wondered why you had to go through it. You sought help on your own, only to be barely accepted by the courts in the end. You brought your documents, received a message from your lawyer, went to court, waited for hours for nothing, which visibly frustrated you. It was nighttime, so you felt watched and monitored. You walked the streets, glancing at the main road and the shortcut you always took home.

"It's okay if I go down this street, right?" you said mentally to yourself, trying to calm the deep nerves that now lingered forever in your memory. You could smell cigarettes and dampness; the night was too cold. In the distance, you noticed a burly man smoking. You were afraid, so you quickened your pace. You glanced at the man out of the corner of your eye; you felt a cold, vague memory surface, but you immediately denied it, speeding up even more fearfully, until it wasn't long before the man from before reached you, blocking your path and calling your name as he approached you, then speaking again: "I know what you have in your hands," he remarked with a disapproving expression on his face…
