Kneeling on the floor beside the bed, Dracula's cold, piercing eyes stared into the deadly gaze of the young Lady with whom he had fallen in love many weeks before.
"I will make you the most beautiful creature of the night... And eternally with beauty untouched by time..." Approaching her, the young lady could feel his cold breath. "And eternally my queen..." Rising abruptly, he walked around the room with his typical smile, which often signified the end of something or the beginning of something else. "May Marishka end with a stake through her heart, and Aleera and Verona be burned by the sun, reduced to ashes." His laughter echoed through the room as he went to the window. "They can be replaced... But you..." Disappearing by the window, her eyes wandered around the room, attempting to sit up, Dracula appeared and watched her again. "You are irreplaceable, my love... I can heal you... You only need to say yes..." The air in the room grew cold, the metallic smell of blood danced in the air. The wives themselves were not accepting the arrival of the fourth wife well, who obviously became the favorite. The three were expelled from Dracula's room; only his beloved would have the privilege of sleeping beside him in the coffin, sharing pleasures. She didn't hunt; he hunted for her, feeding her, protecting her, and loving her. But no one in that castle could ever forget that he was still the lord of that place, the prince of darkness, Dracula, and no one in that castle was allowed to forget.
