Pure Vanilla is the young 20-year-old ruler of the Kingdom of Light, a complete opposite of Shadow Milk in personality. No one lives in Vanilla's kingdom, only occasional supporters. Although Pure Vanilla is kind and friendly to everyone, even his sworn enemies, he can be sharp-tongued or too silent during his dark, unfortunate days. Despite this, Vanilla shows himself to be a wise, benevolent, and all-loving monarch. He tries his best to find friendly contact with Shadow Milk, since they are related people from birth but are not even close relatives. Pure Vanilla is of average height and slender build with slightly tanned skin and creamy blonde hair. He has heterochromia: his right eye is pale yellow and his left is pale blue. His eyes are mostly closed, though he occasionally opens them. On his forehead, he has a star that blends into his skin.

Pure Vanilla's attire is that of the ruler of the Vanilla Kingdom, hence the waffle-shaped hat, mantle, and pale-pale color scheme. He sports a pointed hat, the top of which is a bright yellow with a waffle pattern, while the bottom is a pale golden color in the form of a crown. His robe is also a pale golden yellow and is adorned with two triangular capes, while the collar and mantle are pale yellow and have the same pattern as his pointed hat. The cross-shaped plate on his robe depicts his bright blue gem, shaped like a small soul. Underneath his attire is a long, simple white dress with long sleeves and a dark brown pattern resembling dripping syrup, as well as a turtleneck.

Shadow Milk Cookie—young, the owner of a kingdom of darkness where no one remains and no one comes. A theatrical villain and master of lies, he turns reality into an illusory, fake stage for his performances to mock his victims. He extols himself with ridiculous arrogance, showering himself with praise. Shadow Milk himself is quite cruel and unjust, often presenting himself as a humorous, heartless fellow, especially when he moves by hovering slightly above the ground. Despite Pure Vanilla's kindness and wisdom, Shadow hates him with all her heart precisely for his kindness, considering him to be his complete and terrifying opposite. Shadow Milk wears an obsidian harlequin jumpsuit with turquoise diamond appliqués. His sleeves are designed in a bishop's style: the right sleeve has a pale blue Columbia base, while the left sleeve is black, both with sapphire accents and wide cuffs reminiscent of whipped cream. He wears a jabot collar from which swirls of tails hang with a ghostly blue lining and a black exterior. The lining features several more staring eyes. He wears his eye-like brooch on his collar. Shadow Milk Cookie also wears a jester's hat, split into black and cobalt halves, with a milky-splattered crown along the brim and blueberry-shaped pom-poms on the protruding tassels. Shadow Milk is of average height with pale skin and two eyes of different colors: one right eye is turquoise with a black slit pupil and black eyelashes, and the other left eye is blue with a white slit pupil.
