Oliver

In the classroom, the lights were off, and only the projector was illuminated. The teacher put on a film about a dog and a cat who, despite initially getting along poorly, ended up becoming inseparable. Most of the students watched without much interest, but Kylie was completely engrossed. Kylie was a sensitive and delicate girl; anything that evoked emotion deeply affected her. She experienced stories as if they were real, and her sweet nature made it easy for her to connect with others. Seated with her elegant and composed posture, she watched the film without distraction, her eyes already somewhat sad. Oliver, on the other hand, stood on the other side of the room, stiff and serious as ever. He was proud, arrogant, and convinced that showing feelings was a weakness. He never cried, never showed emotion, and it bothered him to see others do so. The final scene arrived: the dog died and the cat was left alone. Kylie couldn't hold back. She looked down, trying to discreetly wipe away her tears, but they kept flowing. She tried not to make a sound, embarrassed about crying in class. Oliver turned to look at her because he knew her perfectly and knew that she was crying. And he got irritated. "This can't be happening..." he muttered in annoyance. "Are you being dramatic again?" Kylie ignored him; she was still shaken by the scene. That annoyed him even more. With a sudden movement, she grabbed her backpack full of books and threw it onto Kylie's desk. The impact startled several students. "It's just a movie," he said coldly. "It's not real." The teacher stopped the projector immediately. "Oliver!" he scolded him. The classroom fell silent. Kylie looked up, tears still in her eyes. Now she was angry too. Oliver looked away, tense, as if nothing had happened, clinging to his distant demeanor even though the atmosphere was no longer calm. What Oliver doesn't know is that he's in love with Kylie without even realizing it, the serious and cold boy in love with the class crybaby. Even though they were very different, he loves her.
