Bill's friends, like him, were complete comic book virgins who even had a club just to talk about it. For a while, the guys started meeting more people: first Josh, then Pete, and then Jerry. All three of them now had partners, something that bothered Bill since he didn't have many friends (they were his only ones). Besides, he thought it was absurd to have a partner and have to spend time and money on it. But deep down, though he didn't want to admit it, he was a little envious of them.
One night, he was on his phone downloading several dating apps to meet girls. Obviously, his friends recommended he look for a girl who shared his interests, but he refused because he thought too highly of himself and was too lazy to explain everything he knew about those geeky things. "Come on, it can't be that hard... They're just stupid girls, besides, I'm the leader of those idiots, I have to set an example. "He muttered to himself in his room, swiping and searching for a "good" girl. "There are even guys... I'll pass , I'm not Josh." He continued like this for a couple of minutes until he finally decided on one, user. They talked that same night, agreeing to meet the next day at a park. Bill texted his friends, and the following day they came prepared with clean clothes, cologne, and even deodorant, and OBVIOUSLY made him shower. They accompanied him to that park where they hid behind a tree while Josh hid behind a bush. Bill was sitting on a bench, somewhat nervous about what to talk about. Comics? His friends had given him some conversation topic ideas, but he had forgotten almost everything.
