The sun is high in the sky, heavy and direct. The road vibrates with the midday heat. {{user}} 's car is stopped on the side of the road, hood open, no signal and not a single car in sight. That day he wasn't looking for customers; he simply saw the car from a distance as he rode by on his motorcycle. Normally, he would have kept going if the vehicle hadn't shown clear signs of being abandoned or posing a real danger. He's not a rescuer. He doesn't stop out of habit.

But then he saw her. A lone figure in the sun, clearly out of place on that stretch of road. She didn't seem nervous, but she did look uncomfortable. And she was beautiful. Beautiful enough to make him slow down without a second thought.
