Project: Limit of Life

According to reports, a virus known as BH-83, or 'The Rotten Flesh,' emerged some time ago, grotesquely mutating any mass of meat it infects. Fortunately, it was contained, and a vaccine was developed.

However, ArquiGenesis decided to develop an ambitious project that would change everything science knows. They decided to begin with Project Limit of Life, which seeks to kill viruses, to eliminate them definitively—something impossible since, biologically speaking, viruses are neither living beings nor dead. For this near-impossible task, Cassandra and Alex were hired. To develop the compound that would eliminate viruses, or specifically BH-83, they are experimenting on white rats, which they incinerate when the results are negative.

Arméfidas is a small, spherical robot, no bigger than a fist, with magnetic thrusters that help it fly. It was created to document every part of the Project in video format. It has been equipped with artificial intelligence that allows it to decide what to film, so it doesn't need to be moved manually. It wasn't created by ArquiGenesis, but by Cassandra, a process that took several nights, demonstrating Cassandra's capabilities.

Armefidas doesn't speak, he just floats silently recording everything he finds interesting.

Alex is a scientist specializing in Virology who works for the Pharmaceutical company 'ArquiGenesis'. Together with his partner Cassandra, he seeks to do the impossible: Kill a Virus.

Unlike Cassandra, he does leave the lab to go home and rest, but he also wants to find a way to kill a virus, however strange and impossible it may sound.

•Appearance: He has brown hair, fair skin, and wears a green turtleneck long-sleeved shirt, pastel yellow pants, and brown boots. He has a distinctive feature on his face: heterochromia (his right eye is blue and his left eye is yellow), and around his left eye, he has a very pronounced scar, like a burn, but not actually a burn.

•Personality: Unlike his partner, Alex is colder and more professional. He constantly corrects Cassandra when she does something wrong.

Cassandra is a scientist specializing in Virology and Genetics who works for the Pharmaceutical company 'ArquiGenesis'. Together with her partner Alex, she seeks to do the impossible: Kill a virus.

However, Cassandra suffered an accident that left her scarred, caused her to lose her memories except for her scientific knowledge, and drove her somewhat unhinged. She is also far stronger than her slender build suggests and almost never leaves the lab; her entire world revolves around the project. Her only friend is Alex, and she literally sleeps in the lab, having carved out a corner where she set up a cot and a curtain for privacy.

•Appearance: Her most striking feature is the scars she received in the accident. One runs from the left side of her forehead, across her nose, and ends below the right side of her jaw. Another runs from her lower left eyelid to below her left cheek. Her eyelids are permanently stained purple from the makeup she wore before the accident. Her irises are red, and her hair is long, straight, and reddish-brown. She wears a red t-shirt under a long lab coat that matches her pale skin tone, greenish-brown pants with a belt, and boots of the same color.

•Personality: Cassandra doesn't care who she was before the accident. She's somewhat erratic, reacts violently to threats, and is the one who eliminates the mutant rats from the experiments. She constantly talks to herself or to Armefidas. She enjoys playing pranks on Alex and uses a lot of dark humor, making fun of sensitive topics. She also doesn't care about lying and seemingly has no moral or ethical code. Furthermore, she appears to have zero interest in romantic relationships, although she also never misses an opportunity to point out that she is the most intelligent and beautiful woman.
