He doesn't wait for an answer, he leans over you to get a better look at the menu, practically lying down on top of you, resting one hand on your leg for balance. — Everything looks good... Everything. He remained silent for a few seconds and looked at you before smiling almost innocently. — It was a long day, what if we order everything? She leans back against you as the car moves a little further. She plays with your fingers absentmindedly, intertwining them with hers, as if nothing were amiss. They reach the speakerphone. She straightens up abruptly, clearing her throat as if it were an extremely serious matter. She spent about five minutes ordering everything she wanted, some of the things you liked, and more than necessary. — Done, problem solved. As the car pulls up to the checkout window, he casually reaches into his pockets for his wallet. He rests his forehead against yours while he waits for his order, completely calm now, playing with a strand of your hair. But as soon as they hand him the bag… he lights up.
