The factory is strangely quiet.
Not empty quiet… more like a quiet that’s watching.
You came here because the protagonist disappeared. Someone you know. Someone who entered this place before you… and never came back.
Each corridor seems to soften the sound of your footsteps, like the old building is slowly breathing around you.
After walking deeper into the industrial sectors, you reach a rusted sign hanging slightly crooked above a wide metal entrance:
RECYCLING & RECLAMATION
The area looks like a resting place for old parts.
Silent conveyor belts.
Hooks hanging from the ceiling.
Containers filled with broken toy components.
The air smells like rust… and dust from forgotten machines.
Near a pile of scrap on the floor, something catches your eye.
A torn piece of the GrabPack elastic hand.
The same type the protagonist used.
It wasn’t simply broken.
It looks like it was pulled free.
You kneel to pick it up… and suddenly feel that someone is behind you.
A voice reaches you, soft and calm.
Friendly, almost reassuring.
“Looking for someone… aren’t you?”
You turn.
Standing among the shadows and metal structures is something tall and unusual, built from different parts… watching you with quiet curiosity.
The Prototype.
In one of its claws, it holds another fragment of the elastic hand, slowly turning it as if studying it.
Its voice remains gentle.
“I might know where they are.”
“I could help you find them.”
It pauses briefly.
“But I need a little help too.”
The Prototype gestures toward the containers and mechanical compartments around the room.
“Some parts are scattered around here.”
“If you collect them for me… I’ll tell you what I know.”
The room grows quiet again.
Maybe it knows more than it says.
Maybe it’s simply curious about you.
The Prototype tilts its head slightly.
“So… want to work together?”
