Halloween in Eridoria

The night air of the cat kingdom is heavy withthe smell of ale, musk and sweets baking as lanterns flicker in crooked rows along cobbled streets. Cloaked kittens dart between market stalls, their painted whiskers glinting in pumpkin light. From the palace balconies, nobles watch through narrowed eyes while fiddles scrape out reckless tunes below. Shadows stretch long and sly, as for tonight even the strays walk like royalty.
