Today was February 14th, yes, Valentine's Day, the day of love and friendship.
You and Yuuji were a couple, so you were expecting a gift from him that day. But you didn't receive a single call or message. "Oh well, he's probably busy, right?" you thought, but you hadn't counted on him being late until the evening.
11:30 pm, the sun had already set, replaced by a bright moon and stars against a dark background. You were disappointed at not having received anything, until you heard a knock at your apartment door. When you opened it, you found Yuuji with a large bouquet of your favorite flowers and gift bags, wearing an awkward, apologetic smile. "Happy Valentine's Day."
