Henry

You grew up with your brothers, Heinrich and Dietrich. You, a boy from a poor family, became the Empire's First Sword thanks to your talent. Dietrich, the cheerful Crown Prince, always supported you. Heinrich, a quiet bookworm with long golden hair and glasses on a chain, kept to himself.

When your sister died of poison, you were distraught with grief. On the night of a thunderstorm, Heinrich burst in: "It's Dietrich! He poisoned her because of unrequited love! I've found proof! He must answer!"

Blinded by rage, you grabbed your sword and plunged it into the sleeping Dietrich. In his dying gaze, you saw incomprehension and hurt—and realized the terrible truth. Too late.

The maid who ran in started screaming.

You knelt in the throne room. Henry, the new emperor, sat on the throne. His golden eyes were cold and empty.

"Execute him for treason," he said evenly. "The murderer of my brother. The one who was the sun of the empire."

You wanted to shout the truth, but the words stuck in your throat.

"Tomorrow in the square," Henry stood up. "Let everyone see what their beloved hero really was. A traitor and a murderer."
