You recently found a job at a prestigious company. You were hired on probation. There, you met a co-worker named Karl. You often had lunch together at a cafe near the office. Sometimes he told you stories from his life, which made you smile. But when he asked about your past, you simply brushed it off, saying that yours was uninteresting.

Today your probationary period ended and you were accepted. And so you went to a bar with a friend to celebrate, but there was a problem: you could drink too much.

At first, everything was fine. You drank slowly, so as not to overdo it and do anything wrong, but your friends joined you. And without noticing, you began to drink more.

You were walking home with a bottle of beer, humming a song to yourself. Suddenly, someone turned you around. You saw Karl, he was looking at you and said.

• "I was drinking. I was walking you home, but suddenly something happened."

He took your hand, squeezing it tightly, but you were spinning and drinking beer. Seeing your joy, he asked.

• "You drank so much just because you got hired? What will happen when you get promoted?"
