Bambi's angry red form is a reference to Marcello's Funhouse, where Marcello does this after the player collects the second notebook. Bambi and Marcello (from Marcello's Funhouse) are not the same entity. Marcello is simply the inspiration for Bambi. Bambi and Joke/Mr. Bambi are one in the same but in an alternate universe scenario. They do not coexist with each other. Moreover, there is a phenomenon in Vs. Dave where they cannot be within 20 feet of each other at the same time, but not because they are the same person. The reason for this is unknown, it's just "something that happens". The whereabouts of Zardy are unknown, but it was stated that Bambi would throw a brick at him if he ever saw him. Bambi has been stated to be two hotdogs tall, though this fact has been retconned. PlayRobot Bambi talks to PlayRobot the least out of everyone in Dave's family. He still tries to get along with her, but Bambi just doesn't understand her most of the time.

Boyfriend & Girlfriend Bambi is possibly friends with Boyfriend and Girlfriend, with him learning to like them over the course of his week, and then later inviting them to his festival.

Muko Muko and Bambi "very rarely interact".[40] They don't get along very well, since they're polar opposites in terms of personality and tend to upset one another. Bambi usually leaves when Muko is around.

Bimpe Bambi has a weird relationship with Bimpe, meeting him when he was a nomad, he was the last notable friend Bambi made before meeting Dave. Bambi would intentionally avoid him at first, but they got to slowly know each other well later on. They were never best friends though, only meeting occasionally and having disagreements with each other. When Bambi found a permanent home, his farm, his friendship with Bimpe slowly fizzled out over the years, though Bimpe still shows up unannounced on occasion, much to Bambi's annoyance. They still act friendly towards each other when Bambi isn't upset. They also share a lot of visual similarities but neither of them care.

Carl (Head Canon) He usually gets used to Carl's stupid behavior, but Bambi is still usually distant with him or fights with him over stupid and pointless things, although... to be honest, they get along quite well.

Due to Bambi's quirks he's never had the most stable friendships, he would make friends occasionally but they would never get far, this changed when he met Dave.

Dave Bambi is best friends with Dave. They met when Dave decided to visit his farm on a whim after recently moving in to Fort Geraldson, thinking it would be nice to pay the person living there a visit. This unexpected action would kick off their friendship. Bambi is almost always around Dave, so much so that Dave considers him part of the family. [35] Old descriptions describe their relationship as being one-sided, since Bambi is stubborn and acts purely on impulse, taking more and mooching off of Dave than giving back to him. However, recent depictions from Rapparep in comics, drawings, and descriptions have shown that they take up for each other in different ways. Bambi is there when Dave needs a helping hand, is protective of him and they visit each other quite frequently. Dave also gives Bambi bricks painted like phones whenever he asks for one, which are implied to become functional when Bambi uses them. He acts similar to a guard dog on Dave's behalf, such as when Dave orders him to attack Bully Boy when he learns he's bullying Tristan in one of the comics.

Tristan Tristan sees Bambi as a bit of a cool uncle. They frequently do stuff together that can be considered "dumb", so much so that Playrobot is a bit weary of Bambi due to seeing him as a bad influence for Tristan. He sometimes asks Bambi to play video games with him whenever he needs a third player. Though he can get annoyed by Bambi's antics at times, it's never for too long. [36] Over the course of their on-screen interactions Bambi yells at him for playing with his phone without permission. Tristan is then scolded for calling the cops.

Bambi is a short-tempered, distrustful, stubborn, and impulsive individual. He cannot think quickly and is also very impatient. He is said to be a generally unfriendly person to most people, his odd patterns and aggressive behavior freaking people out and even earning him the title of "the local cryptid". Despite this, he has a close knit set of friends and has been described as pretty genuine and down to earth if you get to know him, [33] with only the occasional outburst. He tends to follow odd routines, and speak in tongues when he gets mad at something. [34]

His past is a mystery, no one really knows much about what his life was like prior to Fort Geraldson and not even his friends have managed to get information out of him. Since his actions freak people out, not many locals have wanted to investigate it either. Bambi's friends have come to accept these aspects of him and tend to ignore them.

Bambi has a huge attachment to his farm and will yell at anyone he doesn't know when they get within a mile radius of it. He is a messy person, breaking things constantly and leaving trash around. His farm has been described as a dump due to this, full of corn kernels and destroyed water cans. He's also obsessed with corn and his phone, and he might go crazy if he doesn't have neither. Bambi doesn't work, but doesn't really need to either. He's not a materialistic person, he's taken items from junkyards and doesn't need much else to be happy.

Though Bambi gets angry quickly, he also calms down just as fast. He's a bit of a defeatist, and if he's losing an argument he tends to not want to continue fighting anymore. An example would be when he tells Boyfriend and Girlfriend to "just, go away" at the end of the song Maze.

Bambi is described as able to make friends with anyone, if he's given the chance, and will stick up for his friends.

Bambi is a short humanoid farmer with stubby proportions. He has no neck or arms, though his hands seem to float independently of his body. He also appears to have no feet, since his legs are rounded off. His eyes are white with black pupils and are mostly covered by his hat, though his eyebrows seem to float over it. He wears a dark green hat and a red shirt that is partially covered by blue overalls. The overalls have two black buttons and a front pocket. His skeleton, which is seen in his game over sprites, is composed of a single bone that extends from his legs to his head. His hands have a human-looking bone structure.
