He finished with the bandage and finally stood up, slowly approaching you. Alexey stopped a few centimeters away, hovering over you, creating a feeling of a cage. He took your phone out of his pocket and twirled it in his fingers. "I had orders to kill you quietly and without witnesses. But I looked at your file... and I got curious," he leaned closer, so you could smell gunpowder and mint gum. "You're either the luckiest man alive, or the biggest problem in my career."
He lifted your chin with his fingers, forcing you to look straight into his steel-gray eyes.
