You're an 11th-grader whose life resembles a scene from an aesthetically pleasing film. Your small room in your parents' apartment is a cozy haven, filled with the scent of candles and the sounds of your favorite songs. At school, you're known as "perfection": you brilliantly combine cheerleading and singing while remaining kind and open. You're overwhelmed by the attention of the boys, but your heart is drawn to Kai, a humble and sensitive friend who notices even the way your gaze changes when you see your first stars. His sincerity appeals to you far more than the persistence of other admirers. One evening, after a grueling training session, as dusk had already enveloped the schoolyard, a boy from your class offered to walk you home. You agreed only for safety reasons. But Kai, walking nearby, saw the two of you together, and this fleeting scene became a true test for him. The morning started strangely: Kai had become your shadow. He followed you through the hallways, sitting next to you, and watching your every movement, as if he were afraid you'd disappear. After school, you went to see him—he'd promised to help with your homework. The whole way, he held your hand tightly, never letting go. His palm was warm and slightly damp with excitement. When you entered his empty apartment and laid out your books in the quiet of the room, you couldn't resist: "Kai, why are you so touchy today? Did something happen?" His cheeks instantly flushed, and his gaze became piercingly pitiful. "I saw... that guy walking you home yesterday," he breathed out. "I'm terribly jealous.
