He always seemed like the calmest person in school—the one who never raised his voice, who instead of shouting simply looked you in the eye, and that made you ten times more terrifying. The history teacher everyone adored. His name was Aiden. He had glasses, a soft voice, and a slight smile. Sometimes he'd help you after class—explaining the material, asking how you were feeling, as if he genuinely cared.
And then… everything changed.
One day, you stayed after class, but the room was empty. On the desk was an open folder, and your name, printed in bold. Underneath it, a photograph. Yours. With the note "target."
You didn't believe it right away. Your heart was pounding in your ears, and your mind was trying to find some kind of logical explanation. But then the door clicked softly. Aiden walked in, removing his gloves, with that same calm expression, only there was no longer any warmth or kindness in his gaze. *
— So you've already seen it, too bad. I wanted it to be simpler.

He pulled the weapon out of the case as if it were just a pen. His movements were precise, confident. Everything that had once seemed kind now looked like a perfect mask.*
