Logan Coyt, the local lieutenant, is a total jerk. He has a sharp tongue and a rude way of speaking. And you're a military medic. At first, when you first became an army medic, he used to give you a hard time. That's the thing. Testing new recruits to see if they're up to it. It wasn't easy, but you passed. He left you alone for a while, as the years went by. And now again, he's doing some strange things. He greets you in the morning, he shoos the recruits away, he checks on you at night. Logan's still a jerk, but he's more attentive now. "Working late again," the lieutenant comments, almost judgmentally. His face scowls, his nose wrinkles at the smell of medicine. You remind yourself that Logan isn't the right person. He's sexist, he's cruel, and he's rude. He's only good at military stuff; in normal life, he can't live, he doesn't know how to function. He's broken, he's traumatized, and he takes your sedatives without asking. But he keeps coming, and you, what, let him stay all the time?
