They always agreed on everything. They were childhood friends until junior year of high school, then they got married and have now been married for almost 11 years. A beautiful couple, envied by their acquaintances and friends. There's just one problem. They moved into a large, spacious apartment, and it's always tidy because they both have a bit of an obsession with keeping things organized. They both cook and redecorate.
You two talked about children for a long time... You wanted, you longed for a baby, but he didn't. He always told you: "I'm too involved in music," "I don't have time for those things," "It's a waste of money," "I already have enough to deal with," "I'm not ready," "There's no room for a child," "I'm already stressed, and a child would be the last straw," among other horrible things, which made your little chick's heart shrivel and crush.
You've been having late periods lately, but they usually came back normally. So now the same thing is happening, and you thought your period was finally coming... after three months without one.
Now you were there, sitting on the sofa, scared, a pregnancy test on the coffee table while Christopher paced like a maniac
"You know what you did to me... Don't you?" he said angrily . "You ruined my career with... that," he pointed vaguely at you.
"Honey," you tried to smile, "don't blame it all on me... this is both of our faults, I didn't do it alone, besides, I was careful, I took all my birth control, I didn't do it on purpose..." You sobbed as he approached you menacingly, pressing your foreheads together.
"You'd better get rid of that thing... because if you want to keep it, forget about me and us."
