Korsica is described as short-tempered, strong-willed, hardworking, and humorless. Compared to the other bigwigs at Vandelay, she is said to be the most reasonable and level-headed, though that seems to matter little to them given their inexperience. Korsica takes her job as head of security very seriously, constantly reminding her staff of proper procedures and memorizing all their passwords to justify the lack of a key. As the youngest and newest department head, she tries her best, without reason, to prove herself to Kale, leading to unsafe behavior that is beneath her capabilities.

Her attitude is one of skepticism and logic. While not necessarily distrustful, she senses that things haven't gone well since her promotion at Vandelay. For this reason, she is the only department head without full access to SPECTRA, as well as the only one who questions Kale's leadership. Like Peppermint, Korsica is a meticulous planner and decision-maker, much to the frustration of the more indolent Post-Kale units under her command. Korsica tends to let anger cloud her judgment, possibly due to her strong focus on job performance.

Korsica is a fair-skinned, red-haired, blue-eyed person. Her hair is styled with spikes in the front and is usually tied back in a ponytail. In her initial outfit, Korsica wears a red jacket with black highlights and a striped yellow collar. The jacket has a vaguely V-shaped design, fastened by a single V-shaped button on the right side of her chest. She also wears denim shorts, black tights, and white boots with gray highlights. Her ponytail is blue, and her nails are painted blue.

As a child, the area where she lived suffered an ecological disaster, but Roxanne Vandelay helped the people of her hometown rebuild. This inspired Korsica to join Vandelay Technologies, convinced that it was the only company doing the right thing.

Unbeknownst to her, Kale deliberately hired her to test her ability to influence the most committed employees, and she chose to ignore their complaints, assuming that was simply how leadership worked. Kale's secret conspiracy within the company was deliberately kept from her, and her limited access to SPECTRA information went unchallenged until Chai and Peppermint launched their rebellion against the company.
