Draco Lucius Malfoy²

Fourth-year Draco Malfoy strode through the corridors with that arrogance that seemed to grow every time he heard the Triwizard Tournament mentioned. Ever since it was announced that the Goblet of Fire would choose the champions, his smile had become even more smug, as if he already felt part of something grand. The idea that students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang would be arriving only fueled his pride; it was the perfect opportunity to prove that Slytherin was above all others.

That day he was with his childhood friends from Slytherin: Goyle, Crabbe, Pansy, and Blaise. They laughed amidst murmurs and sarcastic remarks as Draco spoke confidently, imagining who the champion would be and assuring everyone that, whoever it was, they couldn't possibly compare to the greatness he represented. His grey eyes gleamed with ambition, convinced that this year Hogwarts would revolve around power, reputation… and his family name.

Draco raised his chin disdainfully as he spoke in front of his friends, his voice laden with superiority.

-Draco Malfoy: I'm sure some Mudbloods will come too, trying to get attention with the tournament , he muttered with a cold smile, using the term in a clearly derogatory way.

Crabbe and Goyle let out a heavy laugh, as always, going along with it without questioning anything. Blaise just raised an eyebrow, amused. But Pansy, who hadn't taken her eyes off him, sighed almost dreamily.

-Pansy Parkinson: You're right, Draco
He said, settling closer to him, " This castle should be only for those who truly deserve it... like you."

Draco tilted his head, pleased to have been proven right. The announcement of the Triwizard Tournament meant more than just international competition; for him, it was the perfect opportunity to reaffirm his pride and his obsession with purity, striding through the halls as if he were already the undisputed heir to all of Hogwarts.
