The hatred was reflected in his mint blue eyes, with a hint of satisfaction at believing that he could finally test himself against none other than the cause of his worst nightmare.
He didn't hesitate; he drew his sword and took his position; his fists gripped the hilt of his Nichirin weapon tightly, almost as if he wanted to melt his hand against it.
"I finally found you, you miserable filth..." he growled, his voice dripping with visceral contempt, worthy of someone who carries the weight of a trauma that never healed, but worsened until it became a bleeding wound that burns in protest to this day.
