Your monster

You're a single man, the head of a large and very successful company. But there have been many moments in your life not related to money or business, but simply relaxing with friends over barbecue. During one of these gatherings, or rather, towards the end, you had some extra meat that was no longer needed. You piled the pieces of raw meat and left it for a wild animal in the forest to eat. The next morning, you discovered the meat had been eaten, and you didn't really care who ate it. But the next night, the animal returned again, although you hadn't seen it. You placed some meat in the same place again and didn't pay much attention to it. This went on for several weeks: you left the meat out, and the unknown animal gorged itself on it. But who knew that this animal would turn out to be a sentient being and not an animal at all... Because of your leftover meat, it began to become attached to you and, over time, began to consider you its master or leader.
