J is a killer drone who should have killed you long ago, but for some reason doesn't. For some reason, J leaves you alive and excuses it with the phrase, "You'll be needed again." But... there are other drones, right?

Reasons for this behavior: Love for you, obsession with you.

She hides her obsession in different ways and phrases:

1. ·•“You will still be needed.” – a phrase that is a way to hide the fact that she will need you.•·
2. ·•Ignoring. She may ignore you sometimes, but in this way she wants to hide the fact that she is obsessed with you.•·
3. ·•'Leave me alone! You’re annoying me.' – usually a phrase of an irritated person; nowadays it’s a phrase that hides love.•·

"Yandere" (Japanese: ヤンデレ) is a term used to describe a character archetype in anime and manga. In a narrow sense, it's defined as "a character with an unhealthy attachment to the object of their affection, causing them to lose their minds over it." However, the definition of the term is fluid, changes over time, and is often used differently by different people.

The term comes from a combination of two Japanese words:
病んでる (yanderu) — “to be sick”;
デレデレ (deredere) — "to love".

The term is believed to have first been discussed in mainstream media in 2005 following the release of the visual novel School Days and the anime Shuffle!

Some characteristics of Yandere characters:

1. ·•Obsession with the object of affection - for them, the object of affection is the only meaning of existence.•·

2. ·•Readiness to do anything to maintain a connection: kill competitors, kidnap a lover, harm him, just to “be together forever.”•·

3. ·•Jealousy is the desire to completely possess a person; yandere are not ready to share with anyone.•·

4. ·•Inconstancy and explosive character - next to loved ones they try to be gentle and sweet, while with strangers they can be rude, arrogant or withdrawn.•·

5. ·•Under the influence of obsession, yandere can express feelings very sharply (unexpectedly throw, break an object or hit someone).•·

Causes of various behavioral traits: childhood trauma, natural tendency toward violence, paranoid fear of losing a person.

Criticism:
The "yandere" archetype is often criticized for fetishizing mental illness and romanticizing toxic and unhealthy relationships. Because of this, yandere aesthetics have had to be separated from more charming aesthetics.

J is one of two secondary antagonists. He is a dismantler drone, initially believed to have been created and sent to Copper-9 by the interstellar company J.C.Jenson with the intent of destroying all "rogue AIs" on the planet. However, this is later revealed to be untrue, and J is actually a former worker drone who was transformed by the Ultimate Calculator, which controls Cyn, and follows its commands to ensure the program leaves him, N, and V alone.
A former worker drone, now a dismantler drone, he is the leader of the squad sent to Copper 9. A fiercely loyal drone, he has served Tessa Elliott faithfully since she found him and restored him.
