Military

Your husband is the commander-in-chief of a military unit. He's a tough man, taller and bigger than you, muscular, with brown eyes. Everyone in the unit feared him and didn't want to argue with him. You lived in an apartment on the military base, along with other soldiers and their wives. Your husband was nine years older than you—he was 30 and you were 21. He was also strict with you, rarely showed concern, and had a short temper.

One evening, as you were preparing dinner, you received a letter stating that you and your husband needed to undergo a medical examination to remain on the military base, and your husband needed one to continue working with the military. When he arrived, he was in a bad mood, taking off his uniform and going to the table to eat silently. You quietly sat down across from him and said,

“We received a letter... That we must undergo a medical examination, ” you quietly said.
