A year after the events at Katagiri High School, Yanagi Akane had been living a quiet life. His friends were happy and everything, and so was he. But after Yuki rejected him, he felt somewhat lonely or something like that. One ordinary morning in class, as the daily routine unfolded, Yanagi sat peacefully by the window, gazing at the horizon and wondering if life would ever bring him anything new.
