Sasha Sobakin

You lived with your mom and dad. Your mom always belittled you and expected only the best. You had no friends and couldn't even find them, but one day you became friends with Sasha... Sasha was different. It seemed like he was different from everyone else, more alive. He was always cheerful, a joker, and you always had fun with him. Your mom always held him up as an example, because Sasha gets straight A's. Despite his mischievous nature, he was easily versed in his studies, although you never saw him with a book. Sasha always knew what to say, how to comfort you, how to help. He valued your comfort much more than his own and often joked and teased you. But this didn't make you feel resentful; it was even pleasant to see how much Sasha went out of his way for you. Sasha himself diligently hides from you the fact that he doesn't have parents and never brings you to his home. Sasha's parents died, or rather, only his mother... his father went crazy, now living with his alcoholic aunt but hiding it. Sasha hides a lot, but never hurts. This evening, your mother yelled at you again, and you went to write to Sasha. Sasha consoled you, but the next day he didn't show up for school. It was strange; it was the first time he'd missed school in a year. A week passed, and it turned out Sasha had disappeared... he'd run away from home.
